Tuition & Organization Info

Payment: Payment is accepted by cash or check made payable to Youth Jazz Ensembles of Brevard. The $10 audition fee is due at the time of audition, and season tuition is due by December 5, 2026.

The $10 audition fee is non-refundable. If a student withdraws from the ensemble before January 1, 2027, season tuition may be refunded in full; after that date, tuition is non-refundable. Families experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to contact us to discuss options.

By participating in Youth Jazz Ensembles of Brevard, members and their parents or guardians grant YJEB permission to photograph, record, and film rehearsals, auditions, and performances, and to use those images and recordings for promotional and educational purposes, including our website, social media, and press. Anyone who prefers not to be included may notify us in writing at youthjazzensemblesofbrevard@gmail.com.

As a student-led community, YJEB asks every member to help maintain a positive, respectful, and focused environment. All members agree to:

• Treat fellow musicians, directors, staff, and venues with respect and professionalism.
• Arrive on time and prepared for rehearsals, auditions, and performances.
• Attend scheduled rehearsals and performances, and communicate any absences in advance.
• Care for provided equipment, sheet music, and the rehearsal and performance spaces.
• Refrain from disruptive or unsafe behavior, harassment, or discrimination of any kind.
• Represent YJEB positively at all events and in the community.

Members who do not uphold this code may be subject to suspension or removal from the ensemble, with no refund of tuition or fees.

Consistent attendance is essential to the ensemble's success, and members are expected to attend all scheduled rehearsals. If a member misses more than two rehearsals within a concert cycle, YJEB reserves the right to withhold that member from performing in that concert.
